With November 1 being World Vegan Day, here are some of the best options to check out in Peterborough.

After more than 500,000 people took part in the most successful Veganuary to date earlier this year, Peterborough's vegan options are gaining traction.

And with the November 1 officially World Vegan Day, what better time to list some of the city's best vegan hotspots?

1. Ralphy’s Fakeaway

Opening in August this year, Ralphy’s Fakeaway has been a tremendous success serving up vegan alternatives to your favourite takeaway meals.  

Their menu includes fried (fake) chicken, no-beef burgers and loaded fries.

2. The Good Stuff 

Located on Cowgate, this restaurant brings a newer, healthier dimension to Peterborough's bustling vegan food scene.

As per their name, they offer good, tasty food as well as a diverse menu which appeals to health-conscious fitness buffs and vegans alike.

3. When Polly Met Fergie 

Named after the owners' beautiful hounds, when Polly Met Fergie aims to inspire lifestyle changes through the use of amazing vegan cuisine.



The owners aim to invite people to step into their world to sample fresh, locally-sourced produce.  

The small and cosy restaurant is located in the Westgate arcade and is a must-try for vegans and non-vegans alike.

4. Resist! Vegan Kitchen 

Resist! Vegan Kitchen was Peterborough's first fully vegan eatery, established in 2017.

This year it was recognised as one of the best kebab creators in the ninth annual British Kebab Awards.

It is located in Peartree Business Centre Enterprise Way and offers seating inside.

5. Bramble Bakes 

For those with a sweet tooth, visit Peterborough's newest stop for gooey vegan cookies.  

Peterborough’s newest dessert place is the creation of husband and wife duo Siobhan and Liam Henson.

The bakery is located at their home in Newborough and the duo are mainly taking orders through social media.  

Customers can collect their orders and if it is more than £10 they can deliver to anywhere in Peterborough.
