The Peterborough-based firm was presented with the award based on ratings provided by retail members of the Sirius Buying Group, which works with home appliance and kitchen retail brands and outlets.
Factors taken into consideration included customer service, representation and deliveries and the monthly support offered for online projects and exhibitions.
Innes Murray, channel director at Whirlpool, said: "We are honoured to receive any accolade that demonstrates our mutual working relationship with the independent sector, and this award from Sirius is great testament to the hard work from both the team and the support from the membership."
Managing director of Sirius Buying Group Steve Jones, said: "The growth we experienced with Whirlpool last year, admittedly under extreme circumstances, was hard to overlook with support still evident as conferences and exhibitions transitioned to digital events."
Sirius Buying Group hosts an annual conference and awards ceremony for its members, honouring both the buying group and suppliers.
Whirlpool Peterborough was named a top employer in the UK for the fourth year running in February.
