Mobile library with disabled access, which stops in villages and communities in and around Peterborough has returned post lockdown halt.

It holds a selection of books on many subjects, novels, large print books, books for children and talking books.

The Mobile Library operates on a rotating four--week timetable, starting on the first Tuesday of the month.

The service is expected to return to all its regular stops in the city and the vehicles will be made covid-safe with no more than six people inside at a time as per government guidance.

Customers can pre-order books to collect from the mobile libraries using our usual free reservation service here.

Alternatively, use the new ‘Select and Collect’ service by going online here or by calling the Customer Service Centre on 0345 045 5225. We encourage everyone to order as far in advance as possible to ensure a selection is ready (ideally a week in advance, but we will do our best with forms received after this).

To check the mobile library visiting times by clicking on the stopping location in your area on this map. Click on ‘find nearest’ and select ‘mobile libraries’.
