Craft workshop will help the unemployed regain their confidence

A free craft workshop is being held at the East Community Centre in Padholme Road, Peterborough by Employ-ABILITY, an organisation working with long term unemployed people to assist them back into work and help them gain confidence.

On October 22, CLP learning Trust and employability will be holding a second workshop where people can learn how to make Scented Water Bead Room Refresher. 

Employ-ABILITY is funded by the National Lottery and European funding, and the main aim is to work with the long term unemployed to assist them back to work so whether they have been out of work due to physical or mental health a career break having kids or lacking confidence and self esteem.

CLP learning trust is a not for profit organisation that provides adults with a ‘second chance’ at learning, encouraging individuals to reach their potential at their own pace.

These craft sessions are open to anyone of working age that is unemployed and it’s like a stepping stone to meet people gain confidence. 

Booking is essential as there will be limited places due to Covid-19 social distancing measures.
