How to select and collect library books for lockdown

Peterborough Central Library's book collection service is now up and running for members to use during the lockdown period.

Specific titles and authors cannot be guaranteed by the Select and Collect service, but customers can pick the format (large print, audio books, standard print), age group (adult, young adult, children), and provide details of authors or genres they are most interested in reading.

A member of staff will then select up to 12 titles that you may like, with items available for collection at mutually agreed appointment times.

Currently this is only available at Central Library, which is open during lockdown on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays between 10am and 3pm for a restricted range of services.

An hour slot to access public computers for benefit claims, job applications and other public service requirements can be booked by calling 01733 864280, or by emailing libraryenquiries@vivacity.org. Visa Application Services is also open and running for those with appointments.

Select and Collect items can be ordered via the website or by calling 01733 864280 to arrange a collection.
