Peterborough's Nando’s has temporarily closed for indoor service after a staff member tested positive for coronavirus.
Nando's in Peterborough has been closed for indoor service after a staff member tested positive for Covid

The restaurant in Cathedral Square closed after the staff member was forced to self-isolate. Other staff members on the same shift were also asked to self-isolate, leaving the restaurant short-staffed.

But a spokesperson for Nando's confirmed it would reopen for takeaways and deliveries from today (June 7) and dine-in service would resume from Thursday (June 10).

The spokesperson said: “A member of our team tested positive for coronavirus and, because of self-isolation regulations, we did not have enough team members to keep the restaurant running last week.

"We have closely adhered to all relevant regulations and look forward to reopening this week when enough team members are able to come back to work.”
