Sally Dowers, from Peterborough, is raising money for Thorpe Hall hospice by shaving her head - live on Facebook!
Sally is raising money by shaving her head in aid of Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall hospice

Upon seeing the news that the Sue Ryder hospices would face being shut down if they didn't receive funding during the coronavirus lockdown, Sally decided to shave her head in aid of Thorpe Hall, the palliative care hospice in Peterborough.

Her JustGiving page was set up with a target of £500, and as of 10am on April 12 it sits at £910 - almost double the goal.

Sally will shave her head on Facebook live at 1pm today, Easter Sunday, and plans to donate her hair to a charity that makes wigs for those suffering from cancer.
