Lakeside Healthcare Stamford have informed patients who received their first dose at St Mary's Medical Centre, Stamford on December 29, 30 and 31 will need their previously booked appointments rescheduled.

Patients are being warned via social media that they will not receive their second dose on the original date planned, but just days later, explaining that the delivery of the second dose will not arrive until Thursday, March 18.

Writing on their social media, they said: "As a result, we will now be contacting those patients booked in for their second doses on March 16 and March 17 to rearrange their appointments to either March 18, 19 or 20."

They have asked patients to not contact the surgery as they will be getting in touch next week.

Lakeside Healthcare Stamford added: "Along with Lincolnshire CCG, we have taken every step possible to prevent rescheduling these appointments, but unfortunately it is beyond our control.

"Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience and confusion this may cause."
