Appeal after cars set on fire in Peterborough city centre

Cambridgeshire police and the fire services have launched an appeal after several cars were set on fire in Peterborough.

At 5pm on Thursday, December 24, a crew from Dogsthorpe extinguished a deliberate fire involving two cars on Gladstone Street in Millfield.

One crew from the Peterborough Volunteer Fire Brigade was called to a fire on Cobden Avenue in Peterborough city centre on Saturday, December 26. 

Firefighters arrived at 3am, to find a car on fire which they extinguished, before returning to their station by 3.50am.
