Drink driving arrest after police spot ‘shredded tyre’

The car was allegedly found to be swerving all over the road and driving on the dual carriageway with one tyre shredded when police stopped it on Friday, January 1.

Hadzhiev was stopped but allegedly failed the roadside breath test, blowing 93ugs at the roadside.   

The 65-year-old from Martinsbridge, Peterborough was charged with failing to provide a breath test and driving without due care and attention on January 1. 

He has been bailed to appear at Peterborough Magistrates' Court on February 24.
