Bank holiday weather: Temperatures fall but mostly dry

Peterborough's bank holiday weekend won't be as hot as the last few days but the outlook is warm and mostly dry.

The high temperatures of this week won't last into next, but the Met Office still forecasts a warm weekend for Peterborough and the surrounding area.

Saturday may see a few showers and a maximum temperature of 19C, but Sunday is predicted to stay dry.

The forecast for bank holiday Monday suggests the sunny spells and lighter winds will see the mercury rising to 22C, which may carry on into early next week.
