Anglian Water has confirmed water supply has been impacted in Freston and Paston and engineers are on site to deal with the issue.
It’s believed a burst water main is causing the problems in the area, which has led to very low pressure or no water supply to households.
The team has apologised to residents for the inconvenience and assured the team is working hard to fix the problem and the supply is likely to be restored by 6pm.
An Anglian Water spokesperson said: “Our teams are currently working to repair a burst water main on Paston Ridings, near the junction with Freston, in Peterborough. Our teams have been onsite since this was reported to us and expect to have water supplies restored within the next couple of hours.
“We would like to apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and thank local residents for their patience while we complete these repairs. Our teams are working to return things to normal as quickly as possible.”
