From November 1, Octagon at Bretton Medical Practice will no longer take prescription orders over the telephone.
Instead, repeat Prescriptions can be ordered via any of the following methods:
- System On Line – Patients can come in to the practice to register for this service and a member of the admin team will be able to assist you
- Email – Patients can email their prescription request in to the following email address. Please note this is a NO REPLY account and staff will not be able to respond to any queries. CAPCCG.firstname.lastname@example.org
- Local Pharmacy – please contact your local pharmacy for any support they may be able to offer
- Post – patients can post their repeat prescription requests in to the practice or leave in the post box placed on the front of the building
Patients have been requested to place prescription orders 48 working hours in advance of medication running out.
In a message, the surgery said: “Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in helping the practice to implement this change.”
