The 150th football event for Team Sementa took the total raised in the 150 games to more than £43,000 with ten teams participating, playing over the course of five hours in  blazing sunshine.

Marco Sementa first started organising games in memory of his late mother Shayne in 2015, and now, six years on, players enjoyed taking part in five one-hour games at Yaxley Football Club - with Marco playing all five games.

The Team Sementa Game 150 Challenge matches raised vital funds for two charities – Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall Hospice in Peterborough, which cares for people with life-limiting conditions and supports their loved ones, and Macmillan Cancer Support.

A range of players of all ages and abilities took part from fast, skilful and young players at the top down to Peterborough Matters chief reporter John Baker at the bottom  - but everyone enjoyed an excellent day.
