This annual event consists of teams of four people doing two circuits around the cathedral precincts, with relay handover points along the way. There's also a 'flip zone' where runners will need to stop and complete five full flips of their pancake - under the close inspection of a pancake adjudicator - before continuing on.
Teams are encouraged to wear traditional pancake racing attire, including running shoes or trainers, although other fancy dress is welcomed - as long as it's suitable for exercise!
The 2019 race saw 12 teams take part, with Moore Stephens accountants claiming the win. It is hoped this year's event will match (or better) that success.
The entry fee is £20 per team, but teams must have booked their place by Friday February 21. Enter here.
