Aaron Goulding is also charged with burglary, possession of a bladed article and attempted theft of a motor vehicle.
All four charges relate to an incident in Cedar Grove on January 9, 2021.
Goulding, of Derwent Drive, appeared in custody before magistrates in Peterborough yesterday (July 12).
The robbery matter can only be heard before a judge and jury so the case was sent to Peterborough Crown Court for a hearing on August 9.
Goulding, 34, pleaded not guilty to a criminal damage charge - the breaking of a window in Norburn, Bretton, on July 3.
A trial date was set for September 16 and he was released on bail with the conditions not to contact two witnesses and not to go to the Bretton property.
