Wednesday marked eight months since the launch of Peterborough Matters, and even in the midst of the coronavirus we've loved the feedback we've been given while we explore our city's wonderful stories.
Since we arrived on Valentine's Day we've covered as many of the Cs as we can think of - community, court, councils, and of course Covid.
We've used drones, podcasts, interactive maps and graphs to keep you up to date; done walkabouts and video interviews; and submitted a raft of FOI requests, to esnure we bring you the news that matters to you.
We have some very exciting new projects on the horizon - there will be more news on our Community Leaders Programme soon.
We have 14,000 followers on Facebook, more than 1,500 on Instagram, almost 1,000 on Twitter, and even a few on Tiktok!
But for many people who like our site the newsletter - which reaches several thousand inboxes at about 4pm seven days a week - is one of the highlights of their afternoon.
We're looking for more people to sign up and and enjoy a round-up of 10 stories from the Peterborough area, which is why we're giving away a £100 gift voucher for The Blue Bell in Glinton so you can enjoy a meal with your family at this popular gastro pub.
On Friday, October 23 we will be randomly selecting one of our Peterborough Matters newsletter subscribers to win the £100 voucher.
If you already receive our daily headlines email, you will be automatically entered - you don't have to do a thing but spread the word and encourage your friends, family and work colleagues to sign up.
Not a subscriber yet? You can sign up to receive our daily email newsletter for free at the bottom of this article. By signing up, you're guaranteed to receive the latest Peterborough headlines delivered direct to your inbox every day.
We will email the winner of the voucher directly to coordinate delivery.
