Adam Peaty has handed the City of Peterborough Swim Club (COPS) the opportunity to give away one free place at his Race Clinics this summer.

These clinics involve Adam and his team sharing their knowledge with aspiring competitive swimmers ahead of the next Olympic cycle. The Peterborough session is set to happen on August 28.

A place on the clinic costs £229, but the nearly 2,000 entries from Peterborough, Norwich, Lincoln, Nottingham, Spalding, March, St Ives and Huntingdon will be in with a chance of getting a free spot at the swim meet this weekend.

Adam has also sent clinic kit to be raffled off, which will help raise some much needed funds for the Peterborough club.

Ben Negus, head coach, said: "We are very excited to be hosting this meet this year. It will have a festival feel about it and I’m sure we are going to have great fun, along with some great racing.

"We are delighted to have the support of Adam Peaty’s Swim Clinics and I’m sure this investment from them will do an amazing job of raising the profile of our sport at the Olympic Games in Tokyo 2020."
