With many local charities struggling for funds due to the cancellation of so many fundraisers and events, the community in Deeping has come together to create Deepingathon. The online event is to be held on Sunday, August 2 and promises entertainment for all the family.

There will be appearances from Peterborough Big Band, Pennyless, The Herbie Lamb Quartet, All the Kings Men, Charlie Capper, Chloe Lorentzen, and Rachel Bea. The afternoon event, running from 12pm to 6pm is co-ordinated by DJ Funky Fossil.

The aim is to raise £5,000 for local charities: St Barnabas Hospice, Sue Ryder, Dememtia Support South Lincs, Lincs and Notts Air Ambulance and The Exotic Pet Refuge. The JustGiving page can be found here.
