The Cancer Wellbeing Service was nominated by staff members at the Peterborough head office who agreed it was a fantastic local charity to support.

The funding will support the work the service offers, with a focus on emotional and physical wellbeing to those affected by cancer.

Lisa Deacon, Joint Cancer Wellbeing Service Manager, said: "We are extremely grateful for the generous support shown to us by the team at Barratt and David Wilson Homes. This donation will be used to purchase lounge seating for our drop in and support area, thank you to the staff who nominated us."

Adam Knight, Managing Director at Barratt and David Wilson Homes Cambridgeshire, said: "As cancer is sadly something that affects many people and their loved ones in their lifetime, we’re so pleased to be giving our Community Fund donation to such a worthy cause.

"We really admire all of the fantastic work the staff at the cancer wellbeing service do, and hope this donation can help them to continue supporting patients."
