New homes could be coming to this vacant Farcet site

Land on Peterborough Road, Farcet, with outline planning permission to build six new houses is up for auction.
The three-acres of land has outline planning permission to build six houses

With a guide price of £600,000, this three-acre site currently boasts a 3 bedroomed semi-detached house with equestrian facilities including menage, stabling, barn and paddocks.

The outline planning permission allows for the building of six houses on the site, requiring the demolition of the host dwelling and equine facilities.

The plans were originally rejected in January 2020 on the grounds that the proposed development would “harm the character and appearance of the area” but was subsequently approved in August of the same year, providing approval is gained from the Local Planning Authority of the details of the access, appearance, layout, scale and landscaping before the development is commenced.

Offered through Modern Method of Auction, both parties involved in the buying are required to complete the transaction within 56 days. Connells is acting as agent for the land.
