The budget fashion retailer is expecting long queues on Monday, April 12, as non-essential shops are finally permitted to reopen after months of enforced closure.
And Peterborough Primark fans will be able to get back half an hour sooner than first thought, with the site opening from 8.30am, as confirmed by a Primark spokesperson.
They confirmed to Peterborough Matters that the opening hours for next week will be:
- Monday to Wednesday: 8.30am to 6pm
- Thursday: 8.30am to 8pm
- Friday: 8.30am to 6pm
- Saturday: 8.30 am to 6pm
- Sunday: 10am to 4.30pm
Primark chief executive Paul Marchant said: "Safety remains at the front of our minds. We have extended opening hours across almost all of our stores to help meet demand safely.
"But we're also asking our customers to keep up the support and spirit they showed last year, particularly if queuing outside or in-store."
When the store reopened at the beginning of December, its opening hours were 9am to 8pm on weekdays, 9am to 7pm on Saturdays and 10am to 4.30pm on Sundays.
