The former Mothercare unit in Serpentine Green will welcome three new units in the coming months; those confirmed are JD Sports and Superdrug, but the final unit is yet to be confirmed.
Jon Carter, centre manager of Serpentine Green said: "A planning application has been submitted for us to convert the existing Mothercare unit into three units. I can confirm that two of those units are being taken by JD Sports and Superdrug.
"Works to the Mothercare unit are due to commence shortly."
Mr Carter explained that works are expected to start in the next few weeks, as it stands, there are no opening dates yet for either JD or Superdrug.
The news comes after Peterborough Matters reported in January that plans for a mezzanine, which will be part of the proposed JD Sports store, was submitted to Peterborough City Council.
Mothercare in Serpentine Green closed in November 2019, and after remaining empty for more than a year, two new confirmed units will be setting up shop in the shopping centre.
