Children can visit their local library to join the Wild World Heroes reading challenge from Saturday July 10.

To complete the challenge, children must read six books over the summer holidays - collecting stickers and prizes from their local library as they finish each one.

Supporting the summer challenge, the Key Theatre has a special offer for children who are taking part - and their families can join in the fun too.

Children who complete a book review of one of the books read and return it to library staff will be given a code that can be used to book free tickets for the whole family (of up to six people) to see selected family film screenings at the theatre.

The first selected screening is of The Jungle Book on August 1.

Book reviews forms can be picked up from your local library.

The theme of this year's summer reading challenge is Wild World Heroes, as the Reading Agency teams up with the World Wildlife Fund for a nature-themed event that can inspire kids to stand up for the planet.

Speak to library staff or email keytheatre@cityculturepeterborough.org.uk for more information about the reading challenge or the Key Theatre offer.
