One of the "original Little Miracles" has taken the plunge and raised over £1,000 for the local charity that supports families of children with additional needs.

At a young age, Isiahia Lugo, who is now 16, was diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and epilepsy following chronic migraines. The family found support in Little Miracles and Michelle King, who runs the organisation. This week, Isiahia gave the charity a very big thank you – by jumping out of a plane to raise money!

Postponed twice due to weather conditions, Isiahia was finally able to make the jump dressed in a multicoloured tutu and Little Miracles t-shirt. He raised a total of £1,350 for the cause – well over his target of £900.

Little Miracles commented: "He's amazing, isn't he? We're so so proud of him overcoming his challenges to help others – he's one of our original little miracles!"

Isiahia said he was "so thankful" to be able to give back to "this amazing charity". He added: "My journey and association with the charity has inspired me to become a paramedic. I understand the hidden disabilities and the support needed."
