Peterborough to Skegness bike ride raising funds for Yemen crisis

Almost 40 people on Saturday, July 18, took part in a 62 miles cycle ride from Peterborough to Skegness as part of a fundraiser for Yemen.

The bike ride was organised by Ishfaq Ali in memory of Peterborough sports star, Kasim Iqhlaq who sadly died last week and raised nearly £20,000. The proceeds were donated to local charity, Children of Adam and was dedicated to late Peterborough sports star, Kasim Iqhlaq who sadly died last week. 

Atiq Rehman from Children of Adam said, Kasim's family played a key part in organising the fundraiser and donated to the cause.

The charity has been appealing for donations to help with the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Yemen affecting millions of people, including children. 

Regular food parcels and other provisions are being sent to help people struggling with everyday livelihood.
