The event is to take place from 10am to 1pm online to ensure the safety of staff, students and visitors - but 1:1 meetings and live webinars covering student life, student finances and filling out the UCAS application will still go ahead so prospective students have all the information they need.
All 1:1 meetings are tailored to provide relevant information for the appointment, so must be booked before 10am on Friday March 19 via eventbrite. Attendees must also have access to a device with a camera so that information can be shared from screen to screen.
Virtual tours and videos are available to be able to view the UCP campus, and information about student support, student accommodation or employability can be provided as part of the individual sessions.
Longer 1:1 advice sessions will be running throughout the afternoon and evening on Wednesday, March 24, for those who were unable to attend the virtual open day or who needed more time to discuss courses, finances, the application process, or anything else students may want to ask.
UCP will be running another open day for prospective students on the first Saturday of July. At the current time, it is expected that this day will be run on the Peterborough campus, as Covid restrictions are due to be lifted, but plans are in place if it does have to be run online instead. The same sessions will be taking place, with 1:1 meetings needing to be booked ahead of time.
