The road blocks were initially installed in time for the bank holiday weekend, but after further discussions the blocks will be staying in place until the gym reopens on April 12.
It comes following complaints regarding car meets in Vivacity Car Park started circulating last summer.
Cllr John Howard shared the news in various Hampton Facebook groups, writing: "Following a more peaceful weekend for Hampton residents who are neighbouring the Vivacity Premier Fitness site, we are glad to confirm our request to extend the duration of the barriers until the reopening on April 12 has been agreed with our enforcement team.
"Your councillors continue to work on and implement lasting solutions for this site to prevent the antisocial behaviour that has impacted this area."
Vivacity Premier Fitness became a prime location for car meets last year, resulting in various reports to local councillors and the police.
Most complaints were regarding the noise going into the early hours of the morning, particular concern was noted due to housing estates and care homes nearby.
