Although gyms and leisure centres are closed, Vivacity is still doing their best to help people with their fitness regime through a long list of online classes.

The Vivacity team is encouraging residents to go online and visit the Vivacity at Home website to take part in a variety of free fitness classes and exercise programmes.

The website, which is filled with new content weekly, features on-demand exercise videos from their team of qualified instructors.

Some lessons include: Ab-blast, HIIT, Yoga and many more, with classes lasting between 20 to 40 minutes each.

If you want something a little more intense, on their Facebook page Vivacity features Dom's daily exercises, which is described as "not for the faint hearted".

Operations Director, Jon Marsden said: "It is rewarding to be able to bring a little of what our gym members usually enjoy into people’s homes. The classes are being really well received for the many people who are missing their regular gym routine, but there is an added benefit for anyone who is just starting out on their fitness journey – you can work at your own pace, take breaks when you need and build confidence as you go.

"For some, this virtual step into gyms could be a real boost. As a team we get an enormous amount of pleasure from helping people with their fitness goals, whatever they may be. Even though we can’t be face to face doing what we love best, this is the next best thing until we can reopen the doors and welcome customers back to our venues again."
