The Peterborough United team and management staff have contributed money to purchase 100 'care packages' that will contain food and essential household items. Supermarket Morrisons have also made a contribution and will lead the delivery service.

Supporters are asked to nominate a fellow fan - someone who would be considered a 'vulnerable older supporter' and who they believe would benefit from the care package. These packages will then be delivered to the doors of the nominated people, with a note of explanation.

Niall Mason spearheaded the project and said: "It is a small gesture, but it is important that we support those fans who pay their money to come and watch us and unfortunately are unable to do that at this current moment in time."

To nominate a supporter to receive one of the POSH care packages, send an email to with the details of the person receiving the help.

In a video on social media, Niall Mason thanked Morrisons Peterborough for their support with the project and added: "From the players and the club, we'd like to urge you just to keep following the government guidelines, to stay at home and keep staying safe."
