Rhythm Room nightclub opening this weekend

More good news for clubbing fans in Peterborough as Rhythm Room is opening to the public this weekend.
Rhythm Room is set to open this week (October 16)

Rhythm Room will be opening at city’s popular Chicago Rock Café on Saturday, October 16.

Luminar Leisure founder Stephen Thomas who openwed the building originally in 1998 has formed a new company based on the core values of going out to enjoy yourself called Dance Drink & Entertainment Limited.

Chicago Rock Cafe shut eight years ago, and Thomas has always kept a watchful eye on the industry and even more so during lockdown, and believes now is the time to build a new concept and get people out enjoying themselves once again in a safe well-run venue.

He said: “We have a number of projects on the go now, but Rhythm Room Peterborough is going to be particularly special as it was one of the first venues I opened back in the 90’s. It’s a great city and I remember enjoying some great nights out there.

“We’ve been on an amazing journey with this venue, I remember going out in Peterborough and I know after such a challenging time we all want to get back to some normality.

"The team have been working day and night on Liberation to make it look fantastic for the people of Peterborough."

Tickets are on sale for the opening weekend, you can purchase your tickets by visiting their website

Dance Drink & Entertainment Limited opened Liberation last week (October 2), in the former New York New York premises on New Road.
