Three arrests after chase for 'dangerous driving' in Fletton

Three men were arrested in the early hours of the morning after police pursued them by car and on foot in Fletton.

At about 3.25am this morning (January 13), officers noticed a car, which was allegedly seen speeding and driving dangerously in Fletton High Street.

The vehicle initially failed to stop, eventually coming to a halt on Melrose Drive, and all three occupants of the vehicle were detained by police after a short chase on foot.

A 30-year-old man and a 25-year-old man, both from Peterborough, were arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and drink driving and remain in custody at Thorpe Wood Police Station.

A 28-year-old man, also from Peterborough, was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and failing to provide a breath test and remains in custody at Thorpe Wood Police Station.
