Visit England gives improved quality score to Ferry Meadows

Visit England, the national tourism agency, has boosted the quality rating of Ferry Meadows Country Park by 2%.
Ferry Meadows was praised for its maps and signage, as well as high standards of customer care

The overall percentage score for the Nene Park site was 88%, meaning that Ferry Meadows meets the criteria for an accredited attraction under the Visit England Quality Scheme.

In October 2019, the park achieved an overall score of 86%.

Strengths noted by the assessor included the visitor guide and map available to pick up on site, which, together with the many information panels and finger post signs, ensures that all visitors are fully aware of what the park has to offer. High standards of customer care and staff willing to "go the extra mile" were also picked up on, with this area of the assessment scoring 92%.

Nene Park said: "We have areas that we need to continue to improve but we are very pleased that the hard work of our staff and volunteers has been recognised by this assessment and that Ferry Meadows continues to be a quality accredited visitor attraction."
