Watch: Jack Marriott says return to Posh is ‘like coming home’

Peterborough Matters got five minutes with Jack Marriott to talk his return to Posh, where he's looking forward to visiting and what sport he'd play at the Olympics.
Jack Marriott says his welcome back to the Weston Homes Stadium was "like coming home"

Back to Posh - how has the welcome back been?

Great. Yeah, almost like coming home. I’ve got such a good relationship with the club, with the fanbase. It’s been such a natural return and really good to be back.

What do you think you can bring to Posh this season?

A little bit of experience. I've been in the Championship for the last three years now, so hopefully I can help a few of the lads who haven’t been in the Championship yet. I also want to do my best for the team, want to score goals, win games and see where that takes us.

And fans back - how excited are you for that?

I think it’s going to be great, there’s going to be a slight adjustment period like there was when we went to without fans, it’ll be one of those changes. But this is a welcome change.

Where are you most looking forward to visiting this season?

I’ll look forward to going back to Derby, to playing at Pride Park. That'll be cool.

Are you watching the Olympics - and which sport (aside from football) would you like to take a crack at?

The only thing I have watched is the golf. But I think I’d like to do something like table tennis or badminton, I’d like that.
