Peterborough United's clash against Portsmouth at the Weston Homes Stadium, originally set to take place on Saturday March 13, has been moved to Tuesday March 16.
This is due to Pompey's appearance in the 2020 Papa John's Trophy final; the Covid-19 pandemic forced the postponement of the fixture last year and it will now take place as part of a double header with the 2021 final being held on March 14.
The tie against Doncaster Rovers - which has been postponed once before due to positive coronavirus tests in the Rovers team - has been moved from Tuesday March 23 to Tuesday April 17. The March date is an international break and Doncaster are set to have multiple call-ups.
Posh are now set to have Doncaster Rovers as opponents for two of the final three games of the season, with the final game of the season away at the Keepmoat Stadium.
Peterborough next take to the pitch against Ipswich Town at the Weston Homes Stadium tomorrow night, Tuesday, February 9, and will be hoping for three points to keep them in touching distance of the automatic promotion spots. The club currently sits in fourth place in the league, with 46 points from 25 games played.
