The girls' section of Peterborough Rugby Club completed their month of fixtures since lockdown restrictions eased with another weekend of victories.

All three teams came home from Bletchley with wins, with the under-18s making it three wins from three. Penny Woods set up five of the tries in her final appearance for the team, a match against a combined Ampthill and Bletchley team. Peterborough won 72-5, making it 174 points scored during the month.

Poppy O'Driscoll scored a hat-trick on her farewell, with Megan Blackman taking one try to mark her last game. There were also two for Holley Ross and Leah Lilley, plus one each for Liberty Ashdown, Jasmine Murray, Abbie Sullivan and Ruby James.

The under-15s were uncharacteristically short on numbers, so joined forces with Ampthill to defeat Bletchley 59-39.

The under-13 girls also completed their season unbeaten, with three wins and a draw, beating the combined Ampthill and Bletchley team 65-10.

The boys' teams also had a pretty good final weekend.

The club's under-18s drew 20-20 with Huntingdon, after Fred Steels opened the scoring within just three minutes in his first match for two years. Nicholas Harris, Harry Hudson and Finn James also had tries.

Will Manning touched down twice with Peter Sweet getting the other as a mixed under-17/under-16 team beat Newmarket 19-15. Felix Anderson's two conversions were the difference between the two sides.

In the other match of their triangular fixture at the West Norfolk club, they lost 24-12 to the host side, with a try each for Chris Jones and Ethan Manning while George Neale kicked a conversion.
