A member of the Salvation Army in Peterborough recently celebrated her 100th birthday.
While on their patrols of Millfield, police popped into the branch in Bourges Boulevard to talk to the staff about any issues.
While there, they stumbled across a milestone celebration.
Salvation Army member Betty was celebrating her 100th birthday with the other members and invited officers to stay and join in the festivities.
"It was lovely to meet everyone, and we hope Betty had a lovely rest of her birthday," said police.
