The upgrades will provide an additional 14,000 sq ft of new office space, as well as alterations to the main entrance, reception and existing restaurant. There will also be a new fitness suite installed for workers to use.
These refurbishments have been carefully planned to protect the Grade II listed status of the building, with only minor exterior upgrades.
A spokesperson for FI Real Estate Management, the company overseeing the development, said: “We’re pleased that this extensive programme of works is now underway and are confident that these upgrades will make a huge impact.
"We understand the importance of employees having access to first-class facilities and having closely liaised with all the tenants at Lynch Wood we know they are looking forward to using the improved facilities on site."
Lynch Wood Park is located three miles west of Peterborough city centre, and is home to a range of businesses employing approximately 2,000 people.
