Vicky Whiter, managing director, says the motto goes: "if it is fabric and you can get it in your car, we will clean it!"
Peters’ Cleaners also provides repairs and alterations ranging from re-hemming and the replacement of zips to wedding dress/prom dress alterations and curtain re-lining. We have also teamed up with the Handbag Spa to spruce up your handbag.
Vicky said: "With over 57 years’ experience of providing exceptional cleaning and customer service, the mission has always been to get every item back to customers in the best possible condition on time every time - and we pride ourselves in achieving this over 99% of the time."
It's that care and attention to detail that has seen six award wins over the past three years.
Peters’ Cleaners has two shops (one on Lincoln Road opposite B&Q, and the other on St. Paul’s Street, Stamford). Both are easy to find and parking outside whilst dropping off/picking up is easy. In addition, there is a 24/7 automated drop-off/pick-up unit at Serpentine Green Shopping Centre. A second unit was due to have been launched in February, but has been delayed to the autumn because of the pandemic.
As an essential industry, being able to stay open during the COVID-19 crisis has been a point of pride for the Peters' Cleaners staff. Extensive risk assessments have been put in place to ensure customers and staff are kept safe while their service continues to help customers across the city.
Vicky added: "We very much look forward to providing a first class service."
