The new Starbucks store, located near Morrison's on Lincoln Road, will open on Friday, February 19.
To celebrate the opening, complimentary Starbucks gift bags will be given to the first 150 customers to visit the store.
In accordance with the latest government guidance, the site will be ‘to-go’ only. While seating is not available for use inside, customers can still order for takeaway using Starbucks Mobile Order & Pay, Drive Thru and Delivery services.
The store will support the British Heart Foundation as its local charity partner. The British Heart Foundation funds research related to heart and circulatory diseases and their risk factors. Starbucks values building strong and lasting relationships within store communities through partnerships with local charities, community groups and residents.
Shakeel Jivraj, head of operations at Queensway Coffee Houses, Starbucks licensee, said: "We are so excited to open our new store in Peterborough and the team are closely following guidance from both government and health authorities to keep everyone safe instore."
