Full planning permission is being sought for the development of three drive-thru units, as well as 19 new industrial units and access, parking and landscaping on land at Maskew Avenue, in Peterborough.
The proposed occupants of the three drive-thru units are Wendy's, Taco Bell and Costa Coffee - and each plot has been designed to meet the operational requirements of these brands as freestanding restaurant units.
One of the industrial units has been designed specifically for Millfield Autos, who currently operate in Lincoln Road but are looking to upsize their premises.
The remaining units would be built on a speculative basis ready for occupation.
A total of 279 parking spaces will be provided to serve the units, with provision made for 27 disabled parking spots and 42 with active electric charging points.
The land is currently vacant, having previously been used as the Parcelforce distribution centre.
