Hospitality Heroes Awards: which Peterborough cafe was voted favourite?

At Last Tea Rooms was voted as a favourite in Peterborough by our readers

We asked Peterborough Matters readers to vote for their favourite pub, restaurant, café and hotel in Peterborough - and now we can reveal the winners.

This news site held a poll earlier in September ahead of National Hospitality Day this Saturday, which is aiming to support the industry after a Covid-hit 18 months.

After dozens of nominations, the shortlist was narrowed down and readers had their say on which venues deserved to be commended for their impeccable service and contributions to the community.

At Last Tea Rooms was voted the best cafe in Peterborough.

Mitch, Marie and the At Last team said: "That's fantastic news! A massive thank you to all of our customers - without them we would not have got through the past 18 months.

"They support and believe in what we are trying to create here in Werrington: a warm, friendly, family-run hub that's full of community spirit.

"It is an absolute joy to be appreciated in this way, thank you all for voting for us."

Second place went to Coffee Hive in Fletton, with third a tie between Lightbox and Bewiched, both on Bridge Street.
