Various beauty salons are getting ready to reopen on July 4, with strict social distancing measures in place.

Whether you want to get your makeup, eyelashes, eyebrows or your nails done, it's looking like you can start booking in your appointments once again.

A number of beauty salons have confirmed to Peterborough Matters that they will be welcoming customers back in imminently.

Pippa May Beauty, in Yaxley, does nails, waxing, eyelashes, facials and much more, and she will be reopening her doors very soon. She said: "I have ordered a visor, I have gloves and masks. My clients must wait in their cars until I text them to come indoors and I will be cleaning and sanitising in between each client.

"No clients will be allowed in the waiting area or to bring anyone to their appointment, I will also be unable to offer teas or coffees during this time."

LBDDanielle, in Stamford, offers eyelashes and brow services at her clinic and will be providing customers with PPE if they don't have any to hand.

She has started planning her July diary and is booking clients in for provisional appointments.

Sharpe Faces, pictured above, will also be welcoming clients back in, depending on government guidelines.

The studio which opened earlier this year offers makeup, with aesthetics, eyelashes and hair being done by other businesses in various rooms.

Guidelines are already in place for the reopening of Sharpe Faces, including available hand sanitiser, encouragement of cashless payments and consistent brush cleaning.

@NailsbyJessica.Lucy on Instagram will also be opening up her studio from home after previously working at Mudhoney from July 4.

She has also asked all clients to attend appointments with a mask, but has assured people that if they don't have one, one can be provided.
