Having had to close due to Covid 19, the Little Miracles facility welcomed back families with children who have additional needs, disabilities and life-limiting conditions last week
The popular facility was the region’s first of its kind when it opened in 2018 and has provided parents of children with special needs and disabilities a calm and peaceful sanctuary.
The sensory room features a range of equipment, including LED optic fibres, a mobility hoist and soft play, together with activities that help children feel calmer and interact with others.
“It’s wonderful to be able to welcome back families to this important facility,” said centre director Mark Broadhead.
“The Little Miracles Sensory Room is a vital part of the Peterborough community and forms part of Queensgate’s all-inclusive commitment to providing a shopping centre that welcomes everyone.”
The Sensory Room will be open every week from Tuesday to Saturday in the shopping centre. The Sensory Room can be found on the ground floor in North Square.
