Throughout the initial lockdown period, Meet Hugo grew from nine staff members to 27, meaning a much bigger office space was required to cater for the growing business.

Meet Hugo is a lead generation business, finding opportunities for worldwide clients that generate quicker, simpler and more powerful enquiries and sales. Founded in 2018, the company has a sales office in Miami and a team in Manila to access a variety of other international English speaking markets.

Although Brightfield Business Hub in Orton has been a solid home for Meet Hugo since its startup, further expansion means they need a bigger base. Their new home at Warmington Mill in the village of Warmington, just outside Peterborough, is somewhere CEO Ben Harper feels the company can grow into.

He said: "We were really fortunate to experience considerable growth this year. We certainly didn’t expect to be tripling our staff members in 2020.

"The new office has enough capacity to accommodate over seventy employees, and at the rate of growth we’re currently experiencing, we’d really like to hit that goal in the next twelve months!

"We’ve really enjoyed our time in the Brightfield Business Hub, but with the move to Warmington Mill, we’ve got a place that we can grow into, make into our home and really reflect what we stand for as a business – the view isn’t half bad either!"
