Halloween Trail

The Burghley Halloween Trail ghosts will be haunting the Sculpture Garden until October 31.

Tread through the crispy Autumn leaves to find the Sculpture Garden ghosts and solve the hidden clues. If you dress up in your spookiest Halloween costume, you'll receive a sweet treat before you enter.

Halloween Craft Workshops (until October 29)

Join the education team in the Sculpture Garden Classroom as they carefully teach you how to create your very own spooky Halloween crafts. There is a different theme for each week:

Admission to the Halloween Craft Workshop is free with a House & Gardens or Gardens Only ticket.

The Beastly Boring Tours

Join the team at 9.30am for a guided tour with a difference during the school holidays. Take a special tour with one of our knowledgeable, costumed guides as the autumn run of Beastly Boring Tours at Burghley runs until October 30 (Wednesday to Saturdays)

Aimed primarily at six to 11 year olds, you are guided around by costumed guides to find out all the grizzly gruesome and horrible history associated with Burghley and the people who have lived here.

Burghley Christmas Fair - November 25-28, 9.30am to 4pm

A festive shopping experience in idyllic surroundings! Wander amongst the decorative chalets, marquees and pagodas as the line up of exhibitors offer everything from luxury gifts, artisan foods, festive treats, winter clothing and much more.

  • The Burghley Christmas Fair will be open from 9:30am - 4pm for each day of the event.
  • Half an hour time slot sessions will be in operation between 9:30am and 3pm.
  • Please arrive within your chosen half an hour timeslot (for example; if you have chosen the 9:30am time slot - please aim to arrive between 9:30am - 10am). Once you have entered the Burghley Christmas Fair, you are free to shop at your leisure.

Admission is £5, under-18's enter free of charge and do not need to book a time slot ticket.
