Met Office issues yellow weather warning for the region

Over the weekend there is an expectation of travel disruption, delays, and potential short term loss of power.

The strongest winds are likely to be on Saturday afternoon and evening, with a lull overnight, before increasing again on Sunday. Heavy rain is also expected, so driving conditions are expected to be poor.
