The vehicle was parked in the Co-op car park in Aston Close when it was discovered ablaze.
One crew from Stanground was called at 3:25am. Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish the fire before returning to their station less than an hour later.
The cause of the fire was accidental.
