Willow Cafe in Central Park has a free weekend of live music, hog roast and family fun to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

Factor singer Nicole Lawrence and band Lucky Town UK will be performing; Nicole will be on stage on June 2, from 2-6pm, while Lucky Town UK will be performing the following day (June 3), also from 2-6pm.

The family-friendly celebration will also feature a soft play area and face painting for children, plus a hog roast.

Bretton Parish Council is inviting people to bring their picnics to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee this Sunday.

South Bretton Playing fields in Ringwood is the venue, from 11am to 3pm

The party will be hosting a traditional games event, with a variety of old-school classics such as Giant Connect4, Hula Hoops, Noughts and Crosses, football and more.

A Jubilee Funday is being held at Chestnuts Community Centre on Sunday, from 11am to 4pm.

All rides and inflatables are free all day at the centre on Norman Road, including an assault course, helter-skelter, rodeo bull, bungee run, teacup ride and more.

The first prize at the raffle is £100.

The Werrington Show Scarecrow Trail 2022 is themed on the Royal Jubilee

Running on Friday and Saturday, June 3 and 4, daily 10am to 6pm, trail maps, £1 and will be available to collect from The Green between 10am and 4pm each day.

There are two trails – a short trail and an explorer trail - with a starting point on The Green, Werrington

Competitions: Favourite Scarecrow – The public will vote for their favourite scarecrow on the trails; prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd placed scarecrows. Lucky Trail Map – correctly completed trail maps will be entered into a prize draw. Kids’ Art Competitions – there will be a free children’s art competition, with prizes, for children aged 11 years and under.

Peterborough Yacht Club are to stage a flotilla of decorated boats to celebrate the Queens Platinum Jubilee on June 3 at 1pm.

The club will be cruising in convoy from Orton Staunch to the Embankment, then onwards to the Dog-in-a-Doublet sea lock before returning to Orton.

Harvest Barn in Farcet will be hosting a big Jubilee Garden Party & BBQ on Friday from 10am to 4pm.

Complete with BBQs, Doughnut & Sweet Vans, Face Painting, Balloon Modelling, Inflatables & a Live DJ, it's going to be the perfect Bank Holiday day out for all of the family.

A special, Bank Holiday Craft Fayre will be held in the field, showcasing the best local crafts & talents from around the area

Bing the Bunny will also be visiting, causing mischief, while keeping the young ones entertained. Entry is free but do bring a picnic blanket.

Afternoon teas can also be booked on Thursday and Saturday (June 2/4) and there is a special seniors lunch on Wednesday, June 1.

Join Peterborough Museum for a big Bank Holiday picnic to celebrate the Jubilee weekend, from 10am to 4pm on Saturday.

Bring your friends and family, and your brunch, lunch or afternoon tea and come and eat on the lawn. Or try a taster tour, hear a story and try some crafts.

Charlie's Cafe in Grove Street, Woodston, (PE2 9AG) will be serving Platinum Full English breakfasts on Friday from 10am to 1pm.

Platinum Afternoon teas will be served from 12noon to 4pm.
