The three-night comedy festival is coming to Peterborough for December 3, 4 and 5.
Opening night will see Marcus Brigstocke, Sara Barron and Chris McCausland take to the stage, with Daliso Chaponda, Jen Brister and Ed Byrne taking on night two. The final day will feature Seann Walsh, Desiree Burch and Hal Cruttenden.
Social distancing measures will be in place, as per government restrictions, and numbers are limited to 750 for each performance.
Alistair Barrie, comedian, compere and MC across all three nights, shared how the festival came about, saying: "I have earned the princely sum of £150 from live comedy since the start of lockdown, I have traded working for 20 minutes an evening as a comedian for the role of stay at home dad working 24/7.
"I was supposed to be playing the New Zealand Comedy Festival, Glastonbury and the Edinburgh Festival so I was desperate to get back on stage, as were many of my peers. Organising a comedy festival with a bunch of friends and a group of amazing comedians sounded like a great idea.
"It was, and here we are launching the Clever Monkee Comedy Festival, a three-night festival of comedy with a brilliant line-up of talent at the East of England Arena."
